Colouring sheets for "A Suitcase Full of Eels"

This project was made for the Sustainable Eel Group - an organization that protects the European eel, which is a species of fish absolutely vital to the survival of the freshwater ecosystem, but the population of which is threatened by human activity.

The European eel is an extraordinary species of fish, most famous for its unique life cycle, during which they travel for very long distances and undergo certain unusual bodily transformations. Unlike most other fish, they are capable of transitioning between saltwater and freshwater, and even cross land on their way from the Sargasso Sea to the rivers of Europe (and back).

These colouring resources are meant to bring greater awareness about this incredibly unique species of fish and to help people relieve stress and relax, as colouring is proven to be a great way to reduce anxiety.
